How to Use ScholarScout

1. Enter Your Keywords

Type up to 5 specific keywords representing your research interests (e.g., "Machine Learning, Climate Change, Data Science"). The more specific you are, the better the AI can narrow down fully funded opportunities.

2. Define Your Criteria

  • Position Level: Select whether you are looking for a Masters, PhD, Postdoc, or Faculty position.
  • Region: Specify a country (e.g., "Japan") or a broader region (e.g., "Europe", "Anywhere").
  • Start Date: Pick a date to find positions starting *after* that timeline, or check "Anytime" for rolling applications.

3. Filtering & Sorting Results

Once the search is complete, use the gray control bar above the results to instantly filter the generated cards by Region or sort them by their expected Start Date.

Note on AI Limitations

ScholarScout searches the live web using Google Gemini, so results can be incomplete or out of date. If a search times out or reports high demand, wait a moment and search again with fewer keywords (1 to 3 works best). Always confirm deadlines and funding on the official website.
